Hi Soul Sister,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Anne, I'm 29 years old and I live in Florida. I've got 2 kids ages 6 and 9 and I'm looking to network with other Christian women. It's so refreshing to see this network of Christian women online and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Soulsister,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your request. I am still trying to figure all this out and just got so busy that I didn't get back on the computer. I work on the computer a lot so I get tired of sitting and staring at it.
I am looking forward to meeting other women who love the Lord and encouraging one another. Sometimes it is just good to hear that someone else is going through the same thing. So lets chat and get to know one another. Like you are, I am sure, I am a busy mom but I hope to find time for some new relationships.
In Christ, Arizona Connie

Isn't it a blessing to watch our children grow in faith? I thank God everyday that He is in their heart! I love your polkadots - so much that I used them on my homepage. Take care, and I hope the Lord brings you and yours many blessings today! RIC

SoulSister, I am glad to hear from you again. yes, I have been looking for God more in the music I hear and trying to turn it around. It has not been completely easy to do, but slowly it has been working some. In-fact, I read this book about looking for your signs. In the book it shares that God is ever speaking to us, we just need to pay attention to the signs. It states he uses the obvisious to the unusual. So I am trying to exercise it in my life. How have you been doing? RIC

Thanks for your response! My 17 year old son has been leading a small group Bible study through a neighborhood church, and is considering youth ministry, missionary work, nursing or the military. He will be a senior this year! My daughter (13) is currently taking confirmation classes and will complete them this year. She is excited her faith, and wants to share it! My 11 year old son (6th grade) will be starting confirmation classes this year, and is not happy at all. He loves the Lord, but is not too hot about anything related to homework. My husband and I are currently active in and outdoor ministry where we volunteer. Hope to hear from you soon! God bless your day!

Good Morning! I am looking forward to hearing from you! How many kids do you have? Do you work? I have 3 kids, 2 boys 17 & 11, and a 13 year old daughter. I am surrounded by teenagers and raging hormones, including mine! hahaha. I have to agree with the secular music thing. I think it can apply to many things secular if you use your Christian base to put it in perspective! I am off to pick up my youngest son from camp this morning! Can't wait to see him! God Bless Your Day! RIC

Hello my dear sisters,
I hope you all had a wonderful day. It is raining here in Rhode Island and I am very excited to see the rain fall. Rain reminds me of when God opens the gates of heaven to send blessings to us. Isn't it wonderful to receive blessings even when we don't deserve them? I went to bible study last night and learned more about self-righteousness. We often forget what our purpose for being in this world is, instead, we speak about the great things we do and the credit we deserve for doing a good deed. We concentrate so much in ourselves and then wonder why is it that our prayers don't get answered. It is not my intention to preach to any of you. It's just that when I get encouraged I like to share what I learn. One never knows the impact that words can make in other people's lives. Just like the Bible says that "Life and Death are in power of the tongue. Well, we need to speak life and share the goodness of God with others. At the same time we need to bring to death the things that hinder our blessings.
May you all be comforted and strengthened as you continue in your journey to serve the Lord.
