Dear Retiree 65,

Hi. Nice to have you as a friend online.  I'm relatively new in this kind of interaction but i'm mighty glad i have tried this connection.

I'm a lady who has never married. Got a little fixated with my family of origin.  Sometimes I play the role of  a surrogate parent to the offsprings of my deceased brothers.  I'm a full time staff in a university guidance office.

till here now.  keep in touch.

Warm regards.

cheers!

Ava

Glad to meet you too.  I can always use a mentor and someone to pray for me.  When I got married, I moved about 3 hours away from my mother, and as I get older those three hours seem like a lifetime. (She got a lot smarter while I have been gone!) Ha!  Anyway, I really miss being able to see her when I want to.  She doesn't use the computer either so we are limited to phone calls and the mail and visits about every three months.  I said all that to say I have discovered that advice and mentorship from others is invaluable in my life.  I have a husband, a job, three boys, and not enough time in a day.  I will appreciate your friendship, and I will pray for you as well. Hi retiree65,

Glad that we'll be friends here! I'm 56 and have been retired for a few years now. I've been spending lots of time helping take care of my grandkids. Hope you're having a great summer so far. It's so hot here in Arizona! We just stay indoors during the day. The temps get up to 115 sometimes! Hope to chat with you again soon.

Lots of Hugs,

Patti
