Good Morning Linda its good to hear from you. Good news about your job, you do have your foot in the door. As for your type two diabetes, i have been diabetic for four years so i beat you. its really not so bad at all justexcercise (i hate that) and eat right (thats really hard) and your losing weight will really help your A1c(its a blood test that shows how you have been eating). But keep up the good work , you will be fine. Hi Linda, Thanks for requesting me as a friend!! I am so sorry that its been long for me to reply. I recently moved and spent some time settling in and now school has started so I have been very busy. I got my degree in Biology and am currently back to receive my nursing degree. No kids yet but pray that God will grant me that miracle!! RIC

My younger daughter Bettina is in 8th grade she is a social butterfly i have no problems with her. Well i hope you find a new job soon that you like. Have a blessed day, Maria

Hi LInda, just getting around to answering my messages. We had a memorial service for my Gram on Friday. Still feeling very emotional from that. I praise the Lord that she's not suffering anymore and that she is with Him now.
Letterboxing is finding a set of clues online, following them to a "box", you have your own stamp which you stamp into the box's journal and sign in - in turn you take the stamp that is in the box and stamp it in your journal. Let's see if I can include a link here that will better explain it. http://letterboxing.org/
My children really enjoy doing it. It's such an adventure! You'll find clues on that website for all over the country.
How is the crafting going? I've just begun to sew. Hubby bought me a sewing machine last Christmas. When my girls go back to school I hope to start sewing more. Perhaps some things for Christmas presents. Of course my ideas don't seem like they will take that long, but I know once I get started it will be another story.
Are your children back from camp? Did they enjoy it? My girls are 9 & 6 and have never gone away without me. Maybe when they're older.
Have a great day!

HELLO Linda, how are you ? I'm great! We just got back from vacation for 10 days. We went camping up north ( by the thumb of Michigan) it was so nice to get away and to relax before school starts again. School starts here on September 4th. We have already been shopping for school clothes. My daughter Sara (17) is having here Senior Pictures taken on Wednesday so we had to get a couple of outfits for that.So the street fair was fun, really lots of crafts and it was so hot!. So whats up with you? What have you been up too? Summer is just going by too fast for me... I have a prayer request for my youth group, we have such a godly group of kids that just love the lord. Well we found out today that we are going to lose our youth minister and his wife. This is totally going to change everything we have worked hard for, relationships with the kids and thier feeling safe and secure with us. So if you could pray for us that we get a godly loving new youth pastor and the transition is smooth that would be great .Well i hope your having a great Sunday, and i look forward to seeing you soon, Maria

Hi Linda! It is great to meet you. Sorry for the delayed message. I find it so difficult to even read my email, let alone write any. Not that I am soooo popular that I get that much email, rather I sign up for nearly every free newsmagazine, group blogs, Christian websites that I can find and now I am getting more email than I can keep up with! I love it though because at least I get email! I grew up in Iowa, married, and raised two boys there. Sadly I divorced, and with working full-time and two kids I had very little time to socialze. Long story short, I met a man online, we became great friends, and after 3 years of internet chatting we talked on the phone. Well....11 months later we were married. First he came to Iowa to live with me, but another long story made it necessary for me to move to Sweden with him! It is a BEAUTIFUL! country. Nice and cool in the summer, and the winters are milder than they were in Iowa. Best of all, NO BUGS! We can leave our windows open with no screens and not have more than a fly or two in the house each week. Well, I have babbled on for too long....please write back and let me know about yourself! I am eager to hear from you.

Hi Linda, its a beautiful day here in Michigan. Im up early because i had to drop off my 13yr old at church so she can go to a youth group retreat. My husband Ros in up north at a mens retreat and my older daughter is working. So i too am all alone in the quiet, its kind of nice hu? I agree with you about not knowing what i want to be when i grow up. Im still deciding what i want to be. My 13yr old wants to cut my hair too but i have never let her. You sure are brave!! Im glad it turned out ok. Well today im going to a street fair in my city they sell crafty and artsy stuff, i guess its something to do.Well i hope you have a blessed weekend. Maria RIC
