Hi Jamaica,  I would love to be one of your friends.  You have such a beautiful smile, it makes your eyes sparkle.  I got my degree in Medical Assisting and at 54 I am starting a new career.  I am currently out of a job though.  Pray for me.  I love animals and flowers and sewing and jewelry making.  I love my family, along with my 7 grandchildren.  Do you have any children?  I have already had one family, my older children are 35, 33, and 32. We also have an 18 year old and a 16 year old.  We were also houseparents to a total of 12 - 56 boys.  Not all at one time.  That was a rewarding time in our life.  Now we are just helping to raise one 16 year old girl.  My husband was going to seminary, but the money situation got bad, so he had to go for another dream of sound production, at the church. Hi Jamaica~thanks for adding me to your friends list. I look forward to getting to know you.

Where did you go to college? What did you study? I got my degree in Music Education, but that didn't last too long. I was one of many teachers (and others) who lost jobs back in 1990. I then went back to school for Early Childhood Education, taught at and Directed a preschool for several years, until I had my children. Since then, I've basically been doing office work. I'm temping right now, hoping to find something permanent. My husband is also temping, which really makes me rely on God for everything. Even permanent jobs don't seem to be permanent anymore.

I have two wonderful girls, 10 and 11, who are away at camp for the first time. They'll be gone for a week. It'll be very quiet around here!
