I am a 47 year old married, but no children of my own woman.  I have nine neices and nephews, and Athena, who I believe The Lord put in my life.  She was dumped by her Mom, and lives with her Dad and Grandma, and we are very good for each other.

I am a Christian who believes that the Lord loves all of us, and he expects the same of us.

I too come from a troubled past.   I have a history of drinking and drugging, but with all praise to God I have been clean and sober for 21+ years.

I was blessed with a family that loved me even when I wasn't so lovable, and though they may not have liked my behavior they never dropped me.  Neither did the Lord.

I saw a note from one who said she had a troubled past.  Honey, If the Lord can forgive me, and bless me with the life I never even dreamed I would have he will forgive you also.  You see, God doesn't walk away;  we do, and all you need do is turn back and tell him that you love him and ask him to be the lord of your life.  He is waiting with open arms.

 21 years ago I was living in a house with no power, no food, no garbedge service, I was a mess, and did n't know where to go.  Today I am married, I have a fabulous relationship with my Lord and my Family.  I have friends, real friends who love me for me.  And now I have a group of Christian people who want to share and grow together here.
